To send a text message from this web site to an MTA mobile phone: Go to the Send A Text Message page. Write your message. Send. To send a text message from an MTA mobile phone: Select the messages option from your phone's menu. Select "Write Message." Write your message. Enter the 10-digit wireless phone number. Send. To send a message from an MTA mobile phone to an email address (requires sender to be in an area with data coverage): select messages option from your phone's menu. Select "Write Email." Enter email address. Write your message. Send. To send a text message from an email account to an MTA mobile phone: Address an email to the 10-digit wireless phone number followed by @sms.mtawireless.com. Write your message. Send.

To receive a text message on your MTA mobile phone: An alert tone will sound and an envelope icon will appear on your phone's screen. Use the up/down keys to scroll through the entire message. If your mobile phone is off, is outside of the Mat-Su area, or the battery is dead, the incoming messages will be stored for as long as 10 days. Text Message steps may vary. Mobile Calling Features

Vital Voice Mail is free for the first mobile phone and $2.99 per month for each additional phone on a shared plan. Stores up to 50 messages and gives you 4 minutes for outgoing greetings. Calls forwarded to voice mail or another number are billed 1 minute of airtime. If voice mail is called from the mobile phone, airtime is charged for the duration of the call. Caller ID is included free on every mobile voice plan.

Call Forwarding is included free on every mobile voice plan. Send calls to a designated number after a few rings, immediately or when your phone is off. Calls forwarded to Voice Mail or another number are billed 1 minute of airtime.

Call Forward No Answer: Dial *71, the 7- or 10-digit number, send.
Call Forward Busy: Dial *74, the 7- or 10-digit number, send.
Call Forward Immediate: Dial *72, the 7- or 10- digit number, send.
Deactivate Call Forward: Dial *73, send.

Call Waiting is included free on every mobile voice plan. Press your send key to receive an incoming call while your original call is in progress. Airtime is charged for both calls.

3-Way Calling is included free on every mobile voice plan. Conduct a call with 2 parties at once.

Dial the first person and press send. When the first person answers, say that you will be putting them on hold. Press send again. Dial the second person and press send. When the second person answers, say that you will be adding the first person. Press send once more to connect everyone. Airtime is charged for both calls.
